We ended the year with a fabulous disco party for a 10 year old #Zaras10th and what great fun it was. The kids had a fabulous time with a food station churning out, hot dogs, burgers, candy floss, waffles, ice cream and so much more. They also had a mocktail bar, face art and tattoo stands as well as a variety of hot food selection, ending the night with pizzas. The DJ was on top form and the guests got to walk on the red carpet and struck up poses at the magic mirror stand. Adults were not left out and joined in the fun, food and games. November 2019 was also the first month that we hosted and managed our first ever UK wedding for 200 guest for our clients, The Rawlings #adell19 It was held in a beautiful manor house Anstey Hall in Cambridge. Ellen and Adam were the perfect clients. They already had a vision of what they wanted and we executed it to perfection. I worked with some amazing vendors, all skilled at what they do and best of all was the camaraderie built up between strangers brought together. It was lovely to watch how they not only worked in sync but were very supportive of one another through out the day. The feed back has been awesome and we are grateful to Ellen and Adam for the opportunity to plan and manage their special day and wish them all the best for the future. We are already booked for events this year and our first event for the year is all the way in Hull a 50th birthday party for a 110 guests. Not an easy feat as this is the first time I have not done a site visit. I have however pulled together a team comprising of a DJ, a photo/Video maverick from Leeds, an MC from London, a decorator and Make Up Artist from Hull and booked the venue which is another lovely manor house hotel. I am confident that together we will deliver much more than the celebrant anticipates. This has been a challenge as I worked on a two week notice and it has been a whirl of activities. I had invites sent out to 115 guests on Wednesday 8th January 2020 and received a total of 107 RSVP by the deadline date given which was yesterday 10th January 2020. 2 Days! All I got from the client who was referred by her sister was a list of guests and their phone numbers on 6th January 2020. I was very determined and proactive in contacting guests via bulk texts and calls and obtaining email addresses. The recent feed back forwarded to me by the client from one of her guests was how "super efficient" her event planner is but as I thrive under these circumstances, it was more fun than work, similar to closing a sale. I have had so much fun with planning this event and can not wait for the day to unfold. Each day I am awed by the client who has gone from feeling overwhelmed to enjoying the whole process and force that is Eddiiez. I intend to be more proactive with my updates on this site and as I continue to build a bigger and better brand, I am thankful to all who have encouraged and supported me through this journey. We are no longer just the go-to for destination events, we are also the go-to for UK events with reasonable costs and incredible work ethics. Remember, we treat your event as if it is ours.
